‎​New Years 1979 marking the dawn of a new era a musical prodigy was born. Learned the piano when he was 5 found and naturally improved his talent on other musical instruments as well. Growing up in an environment that shared the same passion for music, he was deeply inspired and later found his solace in the Stevie Wonders and Marvin Gaye’s records. Well known for his signature chants, powerful vocal range and ability that combines with his unique presence, he immediately caught the attention of Soul Menace, marking the turning point time of his life and transformed to become the one and only TWISTED, one of Jakarta’s premiere party MC and R&B vocalist.

Having had collaborated with many local recording artist which he co-produced and performed with in numerous singles, doing shows with Soul Menace or the up and rising hip-hop crew the ‘Diplomats International’ and share the same stage with the legendary ‘ROOTS crew’ to opened their show, “a dream that was fulfilled”, he recalls.

In 2007, he was nominated for ‘BEST MC’ in Paranoia awards, he didn’t won, but it shows his competence  in the local club circuit. Though not all credited, Rudi Silfa does it for the sake of his musical passion. "Career is within the industry, music is from the heart " he quoted, “it was never about fame or money, but it is about sharing your deepest passion with as many people as possible”. To this day, he is still riding with his Soul Menace crew, rocking cities from Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur, and the journey continues.
